The Epic Day

On nov 7, my 5 friends (austrie, amyjo, matt, lysa, lizzie) and i embarked on a journey to the moon and back. i have a feeling we will be talking about this day for years to come.

(it would be impossible to record everything that went down, so i am including some highlights)
Atomic City, ID
with a population of 25, atomic city was the obvious choice for our first stop since its "home of the world's first nuclear powerhouse". awkward pictures were taken and wallets were lost and we decided to move on. i think we were a little too loud for the tiny town of atomic city.

Arco, ID
our next stop was the "first city in the world to be lit by atomic energy". we stopped for a short bit and lie in the middle of the street because we could. only in idaho.

Craters of the Moon National Park
So we were hoping that this little national park would look exactly like the moon, but were dissappointed to find out it wasn't. though we did climb a 18 story hill, played in some neat caves, and stacked some rocks.

Bellevue, ID
Since we're designers we like beautiful things. and we were driving and found this GOREGOUS thing. a contemporary, abandoned home peaking out from the side of the road calling our name. it was love at first sight. we are going to find away to purchase this home and finish it. something so beautiful shouldn't be wasted! (btw those are the front doors)

Sun Valley, ID
We had a good dinner and did some geocaching. we went to an awesome restaraunt for dessert.

The Awkward Moment

so i was sitting in the crossroads having lunch and people watching as usual.
this cute boy caught my eye from afar and we made eye contact. he was getting up to leave with his buddies and walked toward the exit. then the next thing i knew, he was turning the corner toward where i was sitting. he walked up to me. he said his name was Seth and asked my name. he shook my hand and then told me it was nice to meet me and walked away.
that was anti climatic.
i do give his some credit for getting the guts to walk up to me.
so cute boy with cardigan and square glasses named seth it was nice to meet you, too.

The Amazing Life

but i NEVER know what to write about on my blog.
my friends corinne, lizzie, and austrie ALWAYS have great things to say.
so definitely ch-check them out!

this week was CRAZY! i hardly had a moment to breathe, eat, or sleep, but i loved every moment of it. when i start to think straight i will fill you in on the details.

looking forward to fantastic weekend with some fantastic people! i am so excited to escape this cutural wasteland, also known as rexburg.

in other news i cannot stop listening to maroon 5 "Hands All Over" CD. i imagine adam levine singing those sweet words to me in that sexy voice of his.
